FAQ
Q:
Where and when are the tutoring sessions?
A: Sessions are held at your home or
anywhere else you would like to meet. You choose the
times and days for your sessions that are most convenient
for you. Sessions can also be held at
our Corte Madera tutoring center.
Q:
For which subjects and levels do you provide tutoring?
A: We have tutors specializing in all
subjects, from the kindergarten level to the 12th grade
of high school (including SAT prep and Advanced Placement).
You will find our tutors very qualified, even for higher-level
courses such as Calculus.

list of subjects we offer.
Q:
How long is each tutoring session and how often do the
sessions take place?
A: We suggest that you and your tutor
meet for a minimum of one hour a week. Many students
find they need longer sessions to get through the material
they need help on, while others find it difficult to
concentrate longer than an hour. Meeting with your tutor
more than once a week allows more exposure to the material–
although there is no required minimum frequency for
tutoring sessions. You can also choose to meet more
frequently before tests, or simply when the need arises,
as long as you provide advance notice to your tutor
so that he or she can plan his/her schedule.
Q:
Do I have to buy a package of sessions in advance?
A: No. There is no minimum number of
sessions and you only pay for the service you receive.
There are no binding contracts for multiple sessions.
All that is required is that each session be at least
one hour in duration.
Q:
Do you guarantee quality or success?
A: Each of our tutors is extremely
qualified, and we make every effort to match you with
an appropriate tutor. If your expectations are not satisfied,
we can send you another tutor or you can discontinue
the service. Remember that you only pay for the services
we have provided. We make no warranty of any specific
outcome, but you are under no obligation to continue
with our tutoring services. |
